And now, a few words from and about the writer...

Everyone and their dog has a blog or a myspace or facebook account, so I have decided to use this space as a means of compiling some of my writings. I am going to focus mainly on short fiction but I will probably include some lyrics, poetry and perhaps some stream-of-consciousness ramblings. I have no delusional visions of grandeur that I will become the next great [insert country name here] writer. My stories will not save the life of a ten year old boy with terminal cancer. My stories will not make a prostitute decide to become a nun. My stories will not fix someone's flat tire in -40 degree weather. And finally, my stories will not make me rich. I am simply using this forum as an outlet to help revive my love of writing which has sadly remained dormant for far too long. Perhaps if I actually see some finished (if not exactly polished) works in a public forum like a a blog site, it will give me that extra incentive to be slightly more prolific. If I get relatively decent feedback from three people other than my parents or friends I will consider this a success.
